Biblical Passages:

1. Genesis 1:29 - Then God said, I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.

2. Exodus 23:15 - Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread; for seven days eat bread made without yeast, as I commanded you. Do this at the appointed time in the month of Aviv, for in that month you came out of Egypt. No one is to appear before me empty-handed.

3. Proverbs 11:24 - One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.

4. Malachi 3:10 - Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.

6. Matthew 10:8 - Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.

7. Acts 20:35 - In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: It is more blessed to give than to receive.

8. Romans 12:8 - If it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

9. 2 Corinthians 9:11 - You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

10. Galatians 6:6 - Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.

11. 1 Timothy 6:18 - Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.

12. James 1:17 - Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

13. 1 John 3:17 - If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?

14. 2 Corinthians 9:7 - Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

15. Proverbs 3:9 - Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.

16. Leviticus 27:30 - A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord.

17. 1 Peter 4:10 - Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of Gods grace in its various forms.

18. Luke 6:38 - Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

19. Deuteronomy 15:10 - Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.

20. Proverbs 19:17 - Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.

From these passages, it is evident that giving is a significant aspect of the Christian faith, and is central to Gods heart. We are called to give generously, joyfully, and cheerfully, not only of our material possessions, but also of our time, talents, and love towards others. When we give, we are following in the footsteps of Christ, who gave his life for us, and we are ultimately reflecting Gods love to the world.
